For our sins we've been Finn Harps fans for many a year now and so having built up a relationship with commercial officer Aidan Campbell, we got to producing some promotional material for the sixtieth anniversary year. We started by creating this logo:
Since the season was about celebrating the history and tradition of Harps and the legends of the club; the logo was a retro affair, minimalistic and inspired by the typography of Mexico 1970 and various numbering used on football shirts through the eighties. It was followed by various retro style posters facebook headers and various graphics.
One of the highlights of the season was the 40th anniversary of the cup win in 1974, as part of the celebrations, a night was held in Ballybofey and we made this documentary film that was screened to all that attended, click on the play button below to view it now
Overall we began to associate Harps with some quality design output and helped promote the club and the league in general.
